What happens after you reach out

How Our Network Works

Who answers when I reach out?

Good question. When you request a callback or send a request, you reach Equivalentplane Walk-In Tubs's intake line. That is a referral step, not a contractor's office. We note what you need and where you live. Then we pass it along.

The next voice you hear belongs to an independent provider in our network. Hours and availability vary by provider, so ask them directly.

What might the provider ask me?

Expect simple questions:

  • What kind of project are you considering?
  • Who will use the bathroom, and what is hard for them now?
  • Is the bathroom on a slab, or is there a crawl space under it?
  • How wide is the bathroom doorway?
  • Do you want a visit to measure?

You can help by having photos and rough measurements ready. Those are safe things to gather yourself.

What should I ask the provider?

Bring your own list. Here are good starters:

  • Are you licensed and insured for this work in my state?
  • Will you put the quote in writing?
  • What is included, and what could add to the price?
  • Who handles plumbing and electrical, and who pulls permits if they are needed?
  • How long does a typical install take?
  • What does the warranty cover, and who honors it?

Typical U.S. costs vary a lot by product and by how much the bathroom has to change. A written quote is the only number that counts.

Do I have to hire the provider?

No. You stay in charge. Talk to one provider or several. Take time to compare. Say no if it does not feel right. There is no obligation.

Where do providers come in, and where do you?

You know your home and your daily routine. Providers know the equipment, codes, and installation. Together that makes a good plan. Plain answers, no pressure.
